LICENSE TO CARRY

Texas License to Carry

Stay educated on proper handgun safety and the Texas License To Carry laws with our TX. LTC class at Delta Range 93.
Our number one priority is the safety of our students and the public.

Texas License To Carry (LTC)
The State requires all LTC classes to be a minimum of 4 hours or a maximum of 6 hours of classroom instruction only.

Class Schedule:

The doors open 30 minutes prior to the start of class for student registration.
Breaks: 10 minute breaks are given regularly
Lunch: one hour

Shooting Range:
The class will meet at a local indoor shooting range after lunch.
It is our mission to offer you the finest quality of instruction possible.  Keep in mind that the TX. LTC class is not designed to teach anyone how to use a handgun.  If at anytime the instructor feels that you are not familiar with your handgun, or you become a danger to yourself or anyone else, the instructor will ask that you secure your firearm and step away from the firing line and you will not pass the Shooting Proficiency test.
If you are not familiar with your handgun, we STRONGLY suggest that you sign up for our Super-Combo class beforehand.

Testimonials

Jerry De La Rosa

Before my Elk Hunt of a lifetime in 2016, I never took a shot over 150 yards. With only two shooting sessions with Rey Rodriguez of Delta Range 93, my rounds found center mass on the target at 200, then 300 yards. When the guide gave me the distance before giving the OK, my confidence level from working with Mr. Rodriguez could have never been better. From 325 yards away, my trophy fell where he stood. Learning from expert instruction made all the difference. Thank you, Rey for Delta Range 93!!

Excellent class to attend! If you're looking for a LTC class to get your license, this will not disappoint. I chose the Super-Combo class so I could learn how to disassemble, assemble, properly hold and shoot a gun. Best experience ever! He has a variety of handguns we were able to familiarize with and that was awesome.

Prior to attending the class, I felt okay with a handgun, but not very confident and was really unsure if I was going to pass the written/shooting test. Now, after the almost 12-hour day I spent with Rey, I feel so confident and ready to purchase my first gun and properly care for it. You learn all the necessities to owning a gun - with great tips and advice from how and what to clean your handgun with, to great holsters that are out on the market. Rey has a great personality and makes the class very entertaining. He provides snacks and beverages which is very kind.

I'm excited to hear more about what Delta Range 93 has to offer in the future - Rey has a lot of super cool ideas! If you're looking to attend an informational gun course or a LTC course, definitely take this one! Rey really works with you and makes sure you've got it down.

Rey is a fantastic instructor. He makes the class fun and enjoyable.

Excellent class. Rey was knowledgeable and interesting. I had questions about how to get my license and had to call him later, and he could not have been more helpful and kind. My husband and I highly recommend his class.

If you're in search of a CHL class this is it.

The 4.5 hour class went by quickly because Rey is an excellent instructor and kept the class interesting while being informative.  It was pretty cool being in a class with students from all backgrounds and ethnicities- young and old.  Afterward, I felt a sense of camaraderie with my fellow classmates.

If you want to protect yourself, this class is the first step.
